The Lexington Sertoma Club uses a celebration of the great USC-Clemson football rivalry (which in 1959 and before was played on a Thursday during State Fair week in the month of October) in holding this fun and exciting event.

This year’s event will again be held at the Lexington Municipal Complex Conference Center in October 2018.  The event helps commemorate the Big Thursday football game that was a special attraction throughout South Carolina and the nation until 1959.  No doubt, Big Thursday contributed tremendously to the great rivalry between the two schools we enjoy even to this day.

The Lexington Sertoma Club's event begins with a 5:30 p.m. social and dinner / program at 6:30 p.m. Speakers include former players from both South Carolina and Clemson. The event is a fund-raising event for the club and proceeds are contributed to worthy charities with a focus on helping people with hearing and speech disabilities.
